Al-Kazemi directs the Ministry of the Interior to play its role strongly in the street and maintain state security
Shafaq News/ Today, Sunday, the Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, issued a set of directives to the Ministry of Interior to maintain state security.
A source in the ministry told Shafaq News Agency, that Al-Kazemi visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior today and met with Minister Othman Al-Ghanimi.
He added that Al-Kazemi directed, during the meeting, that the ministry play its role strongly in the street, and preserve the security of the state through the application of the law, and through the work of the ministry's joints with complete integrity.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces also directed the General Traffic Directorate to take its role on the street, stressing the need to develop the work of passports and the unified card.
He stressed the protection of oil facilities, rejecting what he called "compliments over the interest of now," and said that this matter was "unacceptable."
Al-Kazemi stressed that the security man should avoid party loyalties, and stay away from political issues.
On the other hand, the source quoted Al-Kazemi as saying during the meeting at the Ministry of Interior: Work is underway to strengthen foreign relations with neighboring countries.
Al-Kazemi went on to say, despite all the challenges and violations, we are trying to take control of security in the country.
