A member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Waiq Yazidi, confirmed on Thursday that the unfortunate clashes that the Sinjar district is witnessing between the army and the Yabsha forces are part of a scheme intended to shuffle the cards again.

Yazidi said in an interview with the Information Agency, "We all remember how the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Massoud Barzani, who decided in 2014 to withdraw the Peshmerga from the judiciary and sold the Yazidi girls to Sinjar, for the sake of the alleged state, and Barzani was implementing a Turkish scheme."
He added, "What is happening is an attempt to impose the will of the Democratic Party on the Yazidis, and the people of Sinjar realized that whoever sold it in 2014 cannot return it again, and as Halabja is forbidden to the Baathists, Sinjar will be forbidden to Barzani and the Kurdistan Democratic Party."
And he indicated that "the statement of the Democratic Party Branch 17 was full of lies and nonsense, and it handed over girls, minors and children as slaves to the terrorist organization ISIS."
He pointed out that "Sinjar today needs a national solution and to stop the agreement concluded with the Kurdistan Democratic Party, because it is not in the interest of the Yazidi component, and those who erred against Sinjar and those who handed over girls to ISIS terrorist must be held accountable, and those who did these acts must be executed."
Sinjar, located to the west of Nineveh Governorate, is witnessing unstable conditions and clashes between the Iraqi army and the Yabsha forces, with the displacement of tens of families from the people of Sinuni district.
