Member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee Ahmed Al-Rubaie revealed, on Sunday, the follow-up of many files related to various ministries, as well as the file of licensing rounds, indicating that opening the file of licensing rounds is one of our priorities during the next stage.
Al-Rubaie said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", "The Integrity Committee in the House of Representatives is seeking to review the opening of the file of oil contracts, especially the licensing round contracts."
He added that "the decision to review Iraq's oil contracts comes in the midst of the increasing disbursement of the amounts allocated for this file," noting that "the Parliamentary Integrity Committee has many files around which suspicions of corruption hover, which the committee intends during the second legislative term to open and investigate."
