Yesterday, Sunday, the Integrity Commission revealed the issuance of an order to bring in a director general in the Ministry of Finance; for harming the interests of the entity in which he was working.
A statement by the commission stated, "The Rusafa Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity issues, issued a summons order against the former general manager of the Iraqi Banking Services Company; Regarding the issue of violations in the car purchase contract, he indicated that “the company committed violations in the purchase contract of (10) Ford cars.”
He added, "The commission had previously formed an investigative committee to audit the procedures for the contract concluded by the Iraqi Banking Services Company at the Ministry of Finance," noting that "the committee is in its final stages to complete and complete its investigations."
He stressed, "The court issued the recruitment order against the former director general of the Ministry of Finance in accordance with the provisions of Article (340) of the Iraqi Penal Code No. (111 of 1969)."
