, the Federal Integrity Commission reported, on Wednesday, the issuance of an order to bring in the head of a former endowment office; For deliberately causing damage to the funds or interests of the entity in which he works or is connected with by virtue of his position or the funds of the persons entrusted to him.
And the Commission's Investigation Department stated, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "the Baquba Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity issues, decided to bring in the former head of one of the endowment offices, against the background of embezzlement of (1,820,000,000) billion dinars allocated to be distributed to the displaced in Diyala Governorate."
She added, "The director of the Authority for Management and Investment of Endowment Funds - the former Diyala branch and two employees acknowledged handing over the amount of (1,600,000,000) billion dinars to the Chief of the Diwan without official receipts, and his provision of fake lists of the names of the displaced, and their adoption in extinguishing and settling the amount of (1,820,000,000) billion dinars. In violation of the law, under the pretext that each displaced person should receive an amount (one million dinars with blankets)."
She explained that "the investigation court in Baquba, which is specialized in integrity issues, issued the recruitment order, based on the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code." Ended 29/N33
