    Shafaq News/ On Saturday, the director of Ashur district, north of Salah al-Din governorate, revealed political differences and pressures that caused him to be dismissed from his post.



    Zarzis Ismail Hijab told Shafaq News agency, that a political dispute with the leader of the National Masses Party, Ahmed Abdullah al-Jubouri, known as (Abu Mazen), caused him to be dismissed from his position as director of the Ashur sub-district of the Shirqat district, north of Salah al-Din. Governor of Salah al-Din Ismail al-Halub,” without any legal justification or administrative violations, indicating that al-Halub belongs to the party of “Abu Mazen.”
    Hijab added that the governorate administration appointed one of his relatives, (Younis Juma Muhammad), to absorb popular and clan anger, considering this appointment as "a veiled political maneuver to silence the voices calling for him to remain in office."
    Hijab mentioned that he held several positions in Salah al-Din, the most prominent of which were, advisor to the governor of Salah al-Din for development and investment affairs, acting director of the Green Plain district, and director of Ashur Asala district with the election of an absolute majority by the municipal council. Appreciation.
    He accused those he described as "accidental politicians" of trying to silence the mouths, kill the ambition of the youth, and end future rivalries that threaten their existence and their survival in power, as he put it.
    Zarzis Ismail Hijab has held the position of administration of the Ashur district, "Esir al-Sharqat," since 2017.
