    Today, Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it is conducting intensive contacts to find out the safety of the Iraqi community following the Antakya earthquake.
    "Our response is still urgent to the people of our honorable community in Turkey and Syria," said the ministry's spokesman, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, in a statement to the official agency, followed by (Baghdad Today).
    He added, "We are in active contact with the authorities in Turkey to find out the safety of the Iraqis from the earthquake that occurred in Antakya this evening."
    And the Turkish Disaster Management Authority announced, on Monday evening, that a 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit southern Turkey.
    While international media reported that aftershocks after the earthquake struck Lebanon, Syria and Antakya, and the residents felt there, and the Ministry of Transport announced that the residents of the Kurdistan region and some provinces felt an aftershock after the earthquake that struck southern Turkey.
