     Information / Baghdad..
The leader of the Al-Fatah Alliance, Ali Al-Fatlawi, confirmed, on Tuesday, the impossibility of postponing the provincial elections, indicating that any change in the date requires a parliamentary vote on the law.

Al-Fatlawi said, in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that "talking about a postponement of the provincial and district council elections has no basis in truth, and it is just political speculation launched by opponents of the law."
He added, "Parliament set the end of 12/20 of the current year as the last date for holding elections, and it was established by the law that the House of Representatives voted on, and thus the date cannot be changed except by a law or a request to amend the law."
Al-Fatlawi indicated that "on the contrary, the political blocs did not touch or indicate, near or far, a change in the date, but rather insisted on creating all conditions and climates for holding the elections on time." End / 25 pm
