    After the end of its legislative recess, Parliament awaits a season crowded with laws that the government program focused on approving, including a general amnesty, oil and gas laws, and the Federal Court.

    Representative Sherif Suleiman said, in a statement to the official newspaper, followed by “Nass” on Sunday (June 18, 2023), that “after the end of the recess, parliament will have many important laws, as the trend will be to pass the laws that were emphasized in the political document as well as the government program.”  
      
    Suleiman added, "The most prominent of these will be the oil and gas law, which is one of the important laws, as well as the Federal Court law and other laws that the blocs demand approval. There will also be an emphasis on the general amnesty law," adding that "these laws will be focused on in one way or another, and this does not mean that passing other laws.  
      
    The deputy pointed out that "the program will be intensive and there will be a tendency to pass many laws, including oil and gas that the government needs to resolve outstanding problems with the Kurdistan region," noting that "the law is a road map for understanding, and there are old demands for the approval of the Federal Court law." As well as the amnesty law, which laws will be focused on in the next legislative term.  
      
    He stated that "there is a need to overcome controversial matters and approach properly, constitutionally, legally and within the national entitlement by approving the oil and gas law," noting that "it is one of the laws that had to protect the entitlement of the region, the center and all governorates."
