Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Health announced a new electronic application that facilitates health insurance registration procedures, while counting the number of those registered with health insurance.
"The number of applicants for registration with health insurance has reached more than 200,000, of whom 180,000 are registered within the target group," ministry spokesman Saif al-Badr told the official news agency.
He added, "Work is underway to implement an electronic health insurance management system, which will greatly contribute to simplifying registration procedures and benefiting from the system."
And he continued, "Activating the guarantee application is one of the most important priorities of the government program in the health sector, and it is followed up on a daily and personal basis by the Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi."
