    Information/exclusive..
    Disputes over passing the oil and gas law between the central government and Kurdistan continue due to the latter's intransigence in exporting oil and gas in isolation from the center and in clear violation of the decisions of the Federal Supreme Court, which is recognized the illegality of exporting oil from the region.
    The movement of the Sudanese government came at a time when the two ruling parties in the region are struggling to impose wills between the two parties, amid deep disagreements over several files, most notably the sharing of wealth, holding elections, oil export revenues and borders. crossings, and this is what the government has invested in approving the oil and gas law that has been suspended since 2007 until now.
    * Government control
    Speaking about the movement of approving the oil and gas law, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan confirms the support of the government of Muhammad al-Sudani in passing the oil and gas law during the coming period, while stressing that the law will impose control and management of the central government on the file of oil and gas extraction and export. Regarding the relationship of oil export with the approval of the oil and gas law, Al-Hilali clarifies: “Passing the oil and gas law from the House of Representatives will contribute to resuming the region's oil exports to Turkey by resolving all outstanding internal problems with Kurdistan.” Stopping oil exports to Turkey contributed to Iraq losing 400,000 barrels of export funds, as a result of;
    The leader of the union, Burhan Sheikh Raouf, said in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency, "The draft law has been in the House of Representatives since 2007, and the time has come to approve it now," noting that "approving the law will end the differences between the region and the central government.”
    And he continues, "The law will guarantee the distribution of wealth to all segments of society without monopolizing it from a certain side over the other of the Iraqi people," stressing that "the National Union is a major supporter of the government of Muhammad Shia." 'a al-Sudanese in passing the oil and gas law.'
    And Sheikh Raouf concluded his speech: “Sudanese supervision of the legal approval will have a major role in overcoming the previous obstacles that prevented its passage,” adding that “the law will help the central government impose its control over the oil and gas extraction and export file."
    * Resumption of Kurdistan's oil exports Al-Jazaery said in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency, "The Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee is determined to approve the region's oil law immediately after the parliament's legislative recess," noting that "Iraq is exposed to great losses as a result of the continued disruption of Kurdistan's oil exports."
    In addition, Aid al-Hilali, a member of the Al-Fatah Alliance, confirms that the approval of the oil and gas law by the House of Representatives will contribute to the resumption of oil exports to Turkey, adding that the Paris International Court will punish all parties dealing with Kurdistan with the oil smuggling file.
    Al-Hilali said in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency, “If the Kurdistan government continues to smuggle a percentage of oil, it will not be able to form anything in the accounts as a result of the sanctions that will fall on those who deal with the region," noting that "there is a serious effort by the committees formed by the government to negotiate." With the Turkish side to resume oil exports.
    And he continues, "Turkey has fallen into the trap of fines because of the lack of respect for international covenants and laws in exporting the Kurdistan region's oil," pointing out that "the Kurdish parties will not oppose the resumption of oil exports after the Paris." court's decision to avoid many of the burdens that will fall on them.

    Non-commitment of the Kurdistan Regional Government to stop smuggling to Turkiye for several years.
    Territory surrender!
    For her part, member of the Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee, Intisar Al-Jazaery, considered approving the oil and gas law as a process to regulate the export of natural resources, while stressing that the Kurdish parties, after passing many paragraphs, had surrendered to the fait accompli regarding the extraction and export of oil.

    And she continues, "The adoption of the law will regulate the mechanism for exporting Kurdistan's oil through the National Oil Company (SOMO)," pointing out that "the Kurdish parties, after passing many paragraphs, have surrendered to the fait accompli regarding the extraction and export of oil.”
    And she added: "The government and the relevant authorities have not yet determined the port through which oil exports will resume, is it the Ceyhan port, or is it a change to one of the other outlets."
    The oil and gas law is one of the issues that sparked controversy between Erbil and Baghdad for many years, causing Iraq to lose billions of dollars as a result. The regional government was committed to exporting oil in isolation from the central government and the national SOMO company, but it was agreed to pass this draft law between the two parties within the framework of a political agreement that led to the formation of the current government. Ended 25 / y
