An official source in the Anbar local government confirmed, on Monday, the continued arrival of American convoys loaded with military vehicles to the Ain al-Assad base, coming from the Syrian al-Tanf base, west of Anbar.

The source said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency that "Ain Al-Asad air base in Al-Baghdadi district in the district of Hit, west of Anbar, witnessed the arrival of American convoys loaded with military equipment and machinery coming from the Syrian Al-Tanf base under strict protection from an American security company without knowing the real reasons behind the arrival of these Big reinforcements."
The source added, "The movement of American convoys is protected by American security companies, warplanes, and drones," noting that "the American forces have tightened security measures on the Al-Assad Air Base building for precautionary reasons."
He explained that "the security leaders supervising the security file in the western sector do not have information about the fact that these convoys arrived, but sources suggested that the movement of these convoys paves the way for a war operation that the US forces intend to launch inside the Syrian depth."
It is noteworthy that the Ain Al-Asad Air Base, which is subject to unprecedented US measures, witnessed during the last period the landing of dozens of giant cargo planes without knowing their cargo.
