Al-Maliki said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “The amnesty law sent by the government excludes terrorists and the corrupt and will be subject to extensive discussion and study.”
He added, "The general amnesty law that the government sent to the House of Representatives does not exceed 3 lines and cannot be passed in its current form," pointing out that "a major amendment will affect the amnesty law after the second reading."
Al-Maliki pointed out, "What was reported from the government is only a definition of terrorism, but according to specialists, it will tighten the penalties on these terrorist organizations."
Parliamentary Legal Member Hamid Kadhim Al-Zamili had confirmed in a previous statement to Al-Maalouma that the law carries with it many exceptions and will be subject to extensive discussion and study. Ended / 25 h
