[size=45]The Communications and Media Commission announced that more than 26 million calls were made and more than 16 million short messages were sent via mobile phone networks in the city of Najaf during the ceremonies commemorating the death of the Prophet Muhammad.[/size]
[size=45]According to the statistical data of mobile phone companies operating in the country, visitors to the shrine of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib in the city of Najaf made 26,583 million phone calls from the 12th to the 14th of September, in addition to making 766.66 thousand international calls, according to a statement.
