Today, Sunday, Minister of Labor Ahmed Al-Asadi announced the release of financial entitlements for previous years (accumulated) 2019-2020 for eligible persons with disabilities.
The Ministry said in a statement received by Al-Eqtisad News, “The financial dues for previous years accumulated for the years (2019-2020) have been released to more than (38) thousand beneficiaries with disabilities in Baghdad and the provinces.”
While the head of the Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities and Special Needs at the Ministry of Labor, the human rights activist, Dhikra Abdel Rahim, confirmed that “the Authority has completed the technical, administrative and financial procedures for more than (38) thousand beneficiaries to release their accumulated entitlements, with a total amount of more than (87) billion and (606) million dinars.” Pointing out that "the beneficiaries, both male and female, can receive their financial dues through the outlets approved by the banks of (Al-Rafidain, Al-Rashid, and Assyria)."
She added, "The release of these benefits comes based on the directives of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asry, with the aim of bringing joy to the hearts of the beneficiaries as they enter the new year."
