Sudanese: Revenues in the budget amounted to 144 trillion and 336 billion dinars

Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani revealed that revenues in the two thousand and twenty-four budget tables amounted to one hundred and forty-four trillion and three hundred and thirty-six billion dinars, while expenditures amounted to two hundred and one trillion nine hundred and thirty-six billion dinars, while the deficit amounted to sixty-three trillion and five hundred and ninety-nine billion dinars and the governing expenditures. Ten trillion and forty-two billion dinars, in addition to an investment budget amounting to fifty-five trillion dinars.
The Sudanese also announced during a press conference that there are eleven trillion two hundred and sixty-four billion dinars in the governorates’ accounts within the food security allocations, of which about four trillion and two billion dinars were disbursed, and the rest was seven trillion and one hundred dinars. And sixty-two billion dinars, which allows the governorates to spend fourteen trillion and four hundred and ninety-two billion dinars during the current year, in addition to allocating more than two trillion dinars to the governorates guaranteed by the trusts account, and eight trillion dinars for ongoing projects between the years two thousand and twenty-three and two thousand and twenty-four.
Al-Sudani pointed out that Activating one thousand three hundred and twenty-one lagging projects within the tripartite budget, which gave the government the space to complete the lagging projects and complete one hundred and twenty projects in addition to the presence of four hundred and seventy-one projects under completion, pointing out that the current year’s budget amounted to two hundred and eleven trillion, which included employee salaries worth sixty-two trillion.
