    The official supervising the Iranian trade advisory in Baghdad, Farzad Biltan, reported that Iranian goods exports from his country to Iraq recorded an increase of 27 percent during the past three months, compared to the same period last year. 
    Belton pointed out the most important goods sent to Iraq among Iranian exports during the last three months, including natural gas, iron and steel bars, fresh apples, and iron and steel ingots, according to the official Iranian news agency, IRNA.
    Regarding the value of Iranian exports to Iraq during the same period, the supervisor of the commercial advisory office in Baghdad stated that “according to statistics from the Iranian Customs Department, the value of exports reached 3 billion dollars, indicating a growth of 27 percent compared to the same period last year, when the value of exports reached 2 billion and 346 million dollars.”
    The Iranian-Iraqi Chamber of Commerce expects Iran's exports to Iraq to rise to $12 billion.
    In mid-July (2023), the Director General of Customs in Iran, Mohammad Rezvani, announced the export of non-oil goods worth $2.3 billion to Iraq within three months.
