The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee set, on Monday, the date for the first reading of the Popular Mobilization Forces' service and retirement law.

Member of the Parliamentary Security Committee, MP Ahmed Rahim, told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The Popular Mobilization Forces are a national security institution that has made great sacrifices in confronting terrorism and has contributed effectively to the liberation battles in Diyala and the rest of the other provinces."
He added, "The service and retirement law for the Popular Mobilization Forces will witness the first reading tomorrow, Tuesday, in the House of Representatives, amidst confirmations of several contents that secure the rights of its fighters who had battles in the face of terrorism in defense of the faith and the homeland."
He pointed out that "the law is a beautiful response to the great sacrifices of the Popular Mobilization Forces, noting that" the first reading will be followed by a second reading before voting on its articles through the approved paths in legislating laws."
It is noteworthy that the Popular Mobilization Forces' service and retirement law will guarantee the legal status of the rights and salaries of the Popular Mobilization Forces' fighters. End 25 F
