Committee to follow up on generator owners’ commitment to the new pricing

The Baghdad Provincial Council formed a joint committee with the Integrity Commission and security agencies to follow up on the mechanism for generator owners to implement the new pricing.
The head of the Oil and Gas Committee in the Council, Safaa Al-Mashhadani, told Al-Sabah that the committee’s work resulted in the arrest of 28 generator owners in the Dora area for violating the official pricing, in addition to removing the sites of 13 generators and imposing a fine on about 150 others in Baghdad, noting that the fines ranged between two and four million dinars, depending on the warnings and repeated violations.
