[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Ministry of Agriculture discussed, today, Monday, with the Canadian UNDP organization, future plans to enhance the value chain in the agricultural sector and apply climate-smart agriculture techniques, and ways of cooperation between the two sides to develop new strategies in line with current climate challenges.
The ministry stated in a statement: "A meeting was held today with the Canadian UNDP organization, attended by the ministry's coordinator with the program and local and international experts, and a number of department directors in the ministry and relevant departments, in the context of ongoing cooperation with the United Nations Development Program and in continuation of the workshop held in the Kurdistan Region (Erbil) for the period from May 18 to 20, 2024, which focused on the topic of climate-smart agriculture, as the two parties seek to enhance joint efforts and exchange experiences to meet climate challenges and achieve sustainable development in the agricultural sector." / End 11[/rtl]
