    Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Al-Kharabsheh announced Iraq's approval to extend the memorandum of understanding for the supply of crude oil signed between the two countries until June 26, 2025, while indicating that the price will be $16 less than Brent due to the difference in quality and transportation costs.

    Minister Al-Kharabsheh said, "In accordance with the extension of the memorandum of understanding signed on 5/4/2023, the Kingdom will be supplied with no more than 15,000 barrels per day based on the monthly Brent crude oil rate minus $16 per barrel, to cover the quality difference and transportation costs," indicating that this quantity constitutes 10 percent of the Kingdom's needs for crude oil, according to Jordanian media.
