    [size=45]On Tuesday, July 9, 2024, Mr. Awat Sheikh Janab, Minister of Finance in the Kurdistan Regional Government, received the Supreme Committee for Tax Reform in Iraq, headed by Dr. Abdul Hussein Muhammad, Advisor to the Federal Prime Minister, and Mr. Ali Waad Allawi, Director General of the Tax Authority in Iraq, and the accompanying technical delegation.[/size]
    [size=45]At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by Bakhtiar Haji, Director General of Relations and Follow-up Affairs at the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Iraq, and Dr. Kamal Warti, Director General of Taxes and Real Estate at the Kurdistan Regional Government, the Minister of Finance gave a brief explanation regarding the reorganization of the tax sector in the region, as well as the coordination and progress achieved in all areas with the federal government, renewing the ministry’s support for resolving tax problems within the framework of the constitution and the law.[/size]
    [size=45]For his part, the Federal Government delegation thanked the Minister and the Directors General of the Ministry for their positive stances and interaction to work together to reach an agreement within the framework of reform and reorganization of the tax sector throughout Iraq.[/size]
