[size=45]Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani discussed with the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, cooperation in various fields and levels, enhancing the security of the two countries and supporting stability in the region.[/size]
[size=45]The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Interior of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah."
He added that "during the meeting, bilateral relations were discussed and the two countries' aspiration to expand the horizons of cooperation in various fields and levels, and build fruitful economic partnerships that contribute to achieving mutual interests, enhancing the security of the two brotherly countries, and supporting stability in the region."
He continued, "The meeting touched on Kuwait's participation in the Second Baghdad International Conference on Combating Drugs, hosted by the capital, Baghdad, and the importance of doubling security cooperation and high intelligence coordination; in order to combat the supply chains, transportation and manufacturing of these toxins, which have become a threat to societies, in addition to their economic and social risks, and taking the necessary measures to pursue the parties and individuals who traffic in them."
He pointed out that "the meeting witnessed the discussion of a number of common files and the emphasis on continuing to hold dialogues and meetings of the Iraqi-Kuwaiti committees, which consider a number of issues and files of common interest."[/size]
