    Baghdad Today - Baghdad 
    The Lebanese Hezbollah confirmed today, Monday (October 7, 2024), on the occasion of the first anniversary of Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa, that this operation will leave historical effects and strategic results on the overall situation in the region until justice is achieved, the occupation is removed, and the Palestinian people obtain their legitimate right to their land from the sea to the river, praising the courage of Iraq, Yemen, and Iran in pounding the depths of the entity with missiles.
    Hezbollah said in a statement received by Baghdad Today that "the decision to open the support front came to protect Gaza and defend Lebanon."
    He added, "Today marks a full year since the heroic Al-Aqsa Flood operation, in which the will of the Palestinian resistance was manifested in confronting the aggression, injustice, and occupation that has befallen this oppressed people since 1948, and the wars, tragedies, and destruction that followed. This operation will have historical effects and strategic results on the overall situation in the region until justice is achieved by ending the occupation, and the Palestinian people obtain their legitimate right to their free and complete land from the sea to the river."
    The statement stressed "the full right of the Palestinian people to resist the occupation by all means to restore their legitimate rights and remove the occupation."
    He explained, "Despite the brutality and aggression of the occupation, which led to the martyrdom of tens of thousands of Palestinians and the unprecedented brutal destruction of the Gaza Strip, this unjust and aggressive entity has proven that it is a fragile entity that is unable to survive and continue without American support."
     The statement stressed that "there is no place for this temporary Zionist entity in our region or in our social, cultural and human fabric. It was and will remain a deadly, aggressive cancerous gland that must be removed, no matter how long it takes."
    He pointed out that "the United States of America and its allies and tools in the world and the region are partners in this occupation in its aggression and crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and against the peoples of the region, and bear full responsibility for the killing, crime, injustice and horrific human tragedies."
    According to the statement, the party praised “the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance after a year of patience, endurance, and heroism despite the tragedy and pain involved, and they are worthy of victory.”
    He also praised "the strength and courage of our mujahid brothers on the support fronts in dear Yemen and great Iraq, as well as the historic decision taken by the Islamic Republic of Iran to pound the depths of the occupation entity with missiles in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, and its great effects and major results on the nature of this open confrontation with the Zionist enemy."
    The party stressed that its decision to open a support front on October 8 to support the Palestinian people and their honorable resistance is a decision on the side of truth, justice and complete humanity, and at the same time it is a decision to defend Lebanon and its people, for which our resistance and our people paid a heavy and costly price in its leadership structure and in its military and material structure, and the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians and security personnel, and heavy destruction of private property and buildings, and the enemy continues its crimes and aggression without limits, but we are confident, God willing, in the ability of our resistance to repel the aggression, and in our great and resistant people to be patient, steadfast and endure until this calamity is removed, and we see ease after hardship and relief after severity, for the time of defeats has passed and God’s victory has come.”
