The Vice President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masrour Barzani, confirmed that the party will be in the lead during the regional parliament elections, and will remain first under the leadership of President Barzani.[/size]
[size=45]This came in a speech by Masrour Barzani during a meeting with large crowds of young people from Dohuk Governorate, in support of the Kurdistan Democratic Party list (190) in the Kurdistan elections.[/size]
[size=45]Masrour Barzani said: “The Kurdistan Democratic Party was not established to compete with any political party, but to oppose oppression, tyranny and occupation.”[/size]
[size=45]He added: "Since its establishment until today, this party has remained independent and united, and with the support of God and then the beloved people of Kurdistan, it will become stronger day after day."[/size]
[size=45]He continued: "The Kurdistan Democratic Party was established, and we want to obtain all our rights like all countries of the world."[/size]
[size=45]He added: "The plan to weaken the party has been defeated, and they have learned from history and are certain that the Kurdistan Democratic Party will become stronger, because God and the people of Kurdistan support it."[/size]
[size=45]The party's deputy chairman said: "We are calling for peace, at a time when we are the strongest in the Kurdistan Region and we have never been as strong as we are now."[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out that those who hate the Democratic Party "were not as weak as they are now, and despite that, we extend a hand of peace to everyone."[/size]
