    [ltr]Data from the American Petroleum Institute showed issued after the close of markets that commercial crude oil inventories in the United States last week recorded a leap exceeded expectations, while gasoline and distillate inventories fell.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The data indicated that "crude oil stocks rose by 8.8 million barrels in the week ended March 18 to reach 531.8 million barrels, while analysts' forecasts indicate an increase of 3.1 million barrels."[/ltr]
    [ltr]And stocks fell in the futures delivery center in Cushing, Oklahoma rose 1.4 million barrels.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Petroleum Institute said that "gasoline inventories fell 4.3 million barrels last week while analysts had an average forecast in a Reuters poll indicates a decrease of 1.5 million barrels."[/ltr]
