Baghdad (news) .. Likely MP / coalition of Kurdish blocs / Sharif Solomon, remove Iraq from Chapter VII during the coming period after obtaining significant progress in the ongoing negotiations between Iraq and Kuwait regarding debt repayment and demarcate the border between them.

Sulaiman said (of the Agency news): The Chapter VII imposed on Iraq by the United Nations since the nineties of the last century and so far form a significant burden on the state and national economy in terms of exposure Iraq to international pressure until it clear to him opening up entirely on the international community and the global economy.

He added: that Iraq had fulfilled its obligations to pay 41 billion dollars to Kuwait in compensation war Iraqi-Kuwaiti, who paid for the Iraqi people as a result of the policy of the former regime in Iraq, noting that this amount is significant and the impact on the size of fiscal revenue, which comes to Iraq annually.

He explained: that the ongoing negotiations between the two sides and the Iraqi and Kuwaiti will give a positive and tangible results in terms of the agreement to repay the debt and the demarcation of the border in accordance with the regulations and international legislation and thus will lead to removing Iraq permanently from Chapter VII, which will have full freedom to dispose of his money and build its economy.

The predicted Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said Thursday Iraq would emerge from the provisions of Chapter VII final after remaining full payment of compensation to Kuwait by the year 2015.

Iraq pays 5 percent of the total oil revenues to Kuwait under the compensation established by the United Nations for the damage to Kuwait due to the Iraqi invasion of August / August 1990 to February 1991. / End / 8. N. R /

Yeah I agree and this report is a repeat of others yet it omits some of the other important items like paying out in one lump sum and lets not forget the idea of a bilateral agreement to dispose of the impact of chapter VII even if they decide to continue the current payout schedule ending in 2015....

That's the plan IMO or there wouldn't be this fanfare of news reports reciting the meeting over and over and everyone ought to consider this, if Iraq was going to drag their Arse to 2015 explain to me why there was such a hurry up to complete the border on time [March 2013]?

Nope they have a plan to settle all of it now just like Maliki said [In principle it's already settled] besides Kuwait wants it all done before Maliki leaves office anyway which means this year.

So in conclusion the only way 2015 fits such a model is if a bilateral agreement has been forged under the precepts of Chapter VI thus removing all restrictions on Iraq. Only under those conditions does it make sense to make the big deal Zebari, the PM of Kuwait and Kuna news agency have made out of the meeting and agreements entered into last week.

    sounds like a plan!
