    MPs called for Basra on Saturday, to investigate a "waste of public money and suspicions of corruption" in the collection of imports of the border to maintain ports, (590 km south of Baghdad), stressing that this resulted because the import levy to be 600 million dinars instead of four billion, in a month ports.
    The MP said the province of Basra, Mazen Mezni, said in an interview to the (long-Presse), during a tour with a group of deputies from the province to the port of Umm Qasr, "The visit revealed suspicions of corruption and clear should be investigated to control things at border crossing points," noting that "the official receipts for determining the rate of collection outlets border, sold out of those ports."
    For his part, member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee for the province of Basra, Jabbar al-Abadi, said in an interview to the (long-Presse), said that there is "a waste by 80 percent, Paljbaah own House of Basra province, amounting to one percent," stressing that "it has to be imported to maintain 600 million dinars instead of four billions within one month of a border crossing points, something that requires investigation so wastage of public money. "
