Diwaniya (IraqiNews.com) Dozens of people demonstrated in Diwaniya province protesting delay of activating the general pension law.The correspondent of IraqiNews.com reported that ”Dozens of retirees organized a demonstration in front of the building of Diwaniya Governorate protesting delay of activating the General Pension Law by the Parliament,” pointing out that ”The protestors aim to deliver their opinions to the Parliament.”The Parliament prepared a draft to improve the retirees pensions, though, it stayed under study for too long in the Shura Council of the State which aroused controversy among people and supervisory segments, where the retirees criticized the obvious discrimination among retirees’ salaries, while others demanded to include employees of private sector with the general pension law. \END\
