[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zibari, discussed in Stockholm, with his Swedish counterpart, Carl Bird, the political situation in Iraq.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement the Iraqi Foreign Ministry reported “Zibari and his accompanied delegation being conducting an official visit in Sweden met with Bird on last Friday where they discussed the Iraqi-Swedish bilateral relations.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“The two sides reviewed the developments on the Iraqi political scene after lifting the UN sanctions on Iraq as well as discussing the Syrian crisis and the situation of the Syrian refugees in Iraq,” the statement added.[/ltr]
[ltr]“For his part, the Swedish FM congratulated Iraq on settling the UN sanctions file stated in the Charter’s 7th Chapter,” according to the statement.[/ltr]
