    Follow-up / Sky Press:

US President Donald Trump has called for decisive action against the Taliban after it was adopted by one of the biggest bombings in Kabul in years, killing 95 people.

"The United States is committed to a safe Afghanistan free of terrorists who target Americans, our allies and all those who do not share their evil ideology," he said.

"I condemn the despicable attack on a car in Kabul today that killed dozens of innocent civilians and wounded hundreds," Trump said in a statement.

"Now all countries must take decisive action against the Taliban and the terrorist infrastructure they support," he said.

"The United States is committed to a secure Afghanistan free of terrorists who target Americans, our allies and all those who do not share their evil ideology," he said.

About 100 people were killed and 158 injured in a suicide car bomb attack in central Kabul that the Afghan presidency called a "crime against humanity".

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson condemned the bombing as "an inhumane act of contempt for Afghans and all those who work to restore peace to the country." He said his country "will never tolerate those who support terrorist groups or provide sanctuary to them."

President Donald Trump had earlier condemned the "lies" of Islamabad and its "duplicity" in the fight against terrorism in January, threatening to suspend aid to the country of up to $ 2 billion.
