    The Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation will launch next week its anti-poverty strategy, which aims to reduce its rates by 25%. 


    "The next Sunday, the fourth of this month, will see the start of the implementation of this strategy, which includes a set of basic objectives to improve the situation of the poor within the so-called multi-dimensional poverty eradication, namely the areas of health, housing, education, income and protection," ministry spokesman Abdul-Zahra al-Hindawi said in a press statement. Social ". 


    He added: "A new goal added to this strategy is the displaced and the creation of optimal conditions for their return to their liberated homes, and provide the requirements of life." 


    He explained: "The strategy aims to reduce poverty by 25% over five years, and the Ministry is waiting for the results of the survey to measure poverty rates within days to be the starting point to reach the required ratio."


    The spokesman said: "The funding of the strategy will be through the allocation of the general budget of the ministry over the next five years, in addition to what will be provided by international partners led by the World Bank and the United Nations Development Program."
