Nineveh province MP Shirwan al-Dobardani revealed on Saturday the unprecedented escalation of the leadership struggle within the Sunni political house, pointing out that the speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed al- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] beat his opponents in three provinces.
"Parliament Speaker Mohammed al- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] seeking to [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/131929/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B2%D8%B9%D8%A7%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3%D9%86%D9%8A%D8%A9]lead the Sunni leadership[/url] through the recent local elections proposal when thousands of displaced people in Nineveh, Salah al-Din and Kirkuk were excluded by not allowing them to vote inside their camps," Dobardani said in a statement.
He added, "Halbousi wants to exclude the dagger and Abu Mazen and Nujaifi and any leader standing in front of him to get the Sunni leadership," adding that "Halbousi violated the law on the vote of the displaced by preventing them from voting and forcing them to return.
