Legal expert: Parliament continues to violate the Constitution for 14 years

The legal expert Ali al-Tamimi, Saturday, the House of Representatives continued to violate the Constitution for 14 years for not going to amend the Constitution, indicating that the Parliament in his committee took the crusts of the Constitution and violated from within.
"The constitution approved the formation of a committee since 2005 to be amended by specialists and legal within four months and then submitted to the referendum," Tamimi said.
He added that "Parliament has not formed the Committee since 2005 and went on violating the Constitution for fourteen years," noting that "the parliament's move came too late and does not allow time to make amendments."
He explained that "the formation of the Committee by the Parliament to amend the Constitution is adhering to the scales of the Constitution and breach of it from within," pointing out that "the breach is not to involve specialists in the law in the amendments."
