Member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Deputy Karim Alioui, announced on Monday that the decision to transfer security powers to police leaders will be applied to other provinces in the future, considering that this is the first step to end the militarization of cities within the country.
"The National Security Council's decision to transfer the security file to the police in 6 southern governorates represents the first step to end the militarization of cities within the country, which was imposed by public events and was an exceptional situation for a specified period," Aliwi told "Information".
He added, "The decision will be circulated to the rest of the provinces according to a timetable based on the data of the security scene."
On Sunday, the National Security Council decided to transfer the security file in the central and southern governorates to the Ministry of Interior. 25 p. Ended
