[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - Head of the Border Ports Authority, Major General Omar Al-Waeli, discussed today, Monday, with a technical committee, the transfer of trade exchange yards with Iran to the Iraqi side in some ports and the employment of manpower.
The authority said in a statement, "The Committee for Diwani Order 194 of 2019 held a meeting at the headquarters of the Border Ports Authority headed by Major General Omar Al-Waeli and in the presence of all members to discuss the agenda of the meeting scheduled to be held in Baghdad with the Iranian side on 4/12/2021."
He added, "The exchange of information and agreement on issues that advance the reality of the ports' work with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the most important of which is the transfer of trade exchange arenas for the Iraqi side in the ports (Shalamcheh, Al Sheeb and Zurbatiya) and a study of the status of the ports from all commercial and security aspects." / End 8[/rtl]
