[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, confirmed that Iraq maintains the positions of the countries that support it in the UN Security Council.

The Chancellery said in a statement today: "Al-Araji met in his office today, Tuesday, the Chinese ambassador in Baghdad, Zhang Tao, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they reviewed the historical relations between Iraq and China and ways to develop them to further horizons, to serve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples." .

Al-Araji stressed to the Chinese ambassador that Iraq views the People's Republic of China with great respect, as we proceed from two ancient civilizations.

He pointed out that the Iraqi government is keen to develop relations with China, especially cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, stressing that Iraq keeps in its memory good positions of China, especially its position in dropping Iraqi debts, in addition to the positions that support Iraq in the UN Security Council./End of 7[/rtl]
