    [size=45]The US ambassador to Baghdad, Matthew Tueller, said on Wednesday that his country encourages the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government to reach understanding and coordination between them to resolve differences and outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad.[/size]
    [size=45]Earlier, the Kurdish leader, Massoud Barzani, received at the Salah al-Din resort, the US ambassador, according to a statement issued by Barzani's headquarters.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement said that during the meeting, which was attended by Robert Palladino, the US Consul General in Erbil, the situation in Iraq, the latest developments, the equations in the political process in Iraq, and the constitutional steps after the first session of the Iraqi Council of Representatives were discussed.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added that the meeting stressed the need for coordination and cooperation between the political forces and the components of Iraq.[/size]
    [size=45]In another aspect of the meeting, the American ambassador said that his country cares carefully about the Iraqi political changes and events, and encourages all parties, the Kurdistan Region and the federal government to reach understanding and coordination to address the problems.[/size]
    [size=45]The ambassador also stressed that the United States is committed to the security, stability and development of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, according to the statement.[/size]
