    Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani formed a committee to follow up the budget law and determine the total value and price of oil, at a time when leaks indicate that the budget will not be devoid of a financial deficit, which may reach thirty percent, despite the current financial abundance.


    A government approach and endeavor towards the completion of the general budget law was represented by the formation of a small committee that is responsible for reviewing the draft law before sending it to Parliament, preceded by a fundamental amendment to it so that it becomes in accordance with the government's vision and the ministerial curriculum in a manner commensurate with the economic situation and oil prices in global markets.





    Sources said that the total value of the public budget is estimated at one hundred and forty trillion dinars, with a fiscal deficit estimated at forty trillion, or thirty percent, at a time when leaks indicate that the price of a barrel of oil in the budget will be calculated at sixty-five dollars per barrel, something that observers described as a new disappointment. These leaks are correct.
    Specialists considered that the delay in approving the budget would negatively affect investment projects and delay ongoing projects, in addition to stopping the economic activities of the markets.
