The President of the House of Representatives, Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri, on Wednesday, Chief of Mission of the Red Cross in Iraq, Mr. Patrick Joseph. President al-Jubouri, during the meeting to support the functions of the Red Cross in the provinces where military actions, and expressed great interest in cooperation with the Red Cross in order to facilitate their work in Iraq.
He also expressed hope that the Red Cross is making the biggest effort commensurate with the magnitude of the problem faced by the displaced people, especially as the military actions taken a long time and is still continuing in the presence of an urgent need in the health, education and humanitarian.
For his part, Head of Mission accept Red Cross relief and humanitarian tasks that they provide in Iraq, particularly in northern Iraq, confirming the existence of programs to increase the relief work of the Red Cross in areas that have experienced displacement caused by military actions.
