A member of the Parliamentary Region and Governorates Committee, Muhammad Al-Shammari, affirmed that the ownership of agricultural lands throughout the country is the responsibility of the government of Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, indicating that the government is heading towards the ownership of agricultural lands for its occupants.
Al-Shammari said in a press interview that the House of Representatives presented visions and ideas to the government in order to solve the housing crisis, adding that the ownership decision will deal with agricultural lands in most governorates.
He pointed out that the agricultural lands covered by the ownership decision are the ones currently established that are inhabited and transformed into residential neighborhoods, stressing the seriousness of the Sudanese government to resolve the conversion of the agricultural land file into a title deed.
