A local official in Al-Baghdadi district in Anbar, Qatari Al-Obaidi, warned, on Thursday, of the continuation of the American provocations at Ain Al-Assad base, west of Anbar.

Al-Obaidi told Al-Maalouma that "the US forces stationed at Ain Al-Assad base in Al-Baghdadi district in the Hit district, west of Anbar, have caused many security tensions since they took this base as a starting point for their forces' movements in Iraq and Syria."
He added, "The region is witnessing security stability, up to the three border crossings, Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, thanks to the presence of the security forces and the popular and tribal crowd."
