    Al-Hayat News:
    The Parliamentary Women, Family and Childhood Committee held its regular meeting today, headed by Representative Donia Abdul-Jabbar Al-Shammari, Chairwoman of the Committee, and in the presence of its members, its regular meeting to discuss the draft child protection law at its headquarters in the House of Representatives.
    A statement from the Media Department of the House of Representatives received by Al-Hayat News stated that at the beginning of the meeting, Al-Shammari welcomed all the female representatives, wishing them the beginning of a new legislative term full of work to complete the committee's draft laws.
    He added that the observations and proposals regarding the draft child protection law submitted by the committee members were discussed and discussed, noting the importance of taking them into account, as well as taking into account all the proposals and opinions presented by the ministries concerned with the project, the competent authorities, and civil society organizations.
    Explaining that, many meetings, meetings and hosting events were held during the first legislative term of the second legislative year, and efforts were made to prepare the final draft of the draft law and then present it to a vote.
    The statement indicated that, in conclusion, it was agreed to host the Minister of Education and the ministry's advanced staff to discuss the draft child protection law, in the presence of the Director of the Parliamentary Research and Studies Department, in the Speaker's Hall of the House of Representatives next Thursday.
