[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Strategic Planning and Federal Parliamentary Service Committee held, today, Tuesday, a joint meeting with the director and officials of the Iraqi Accreditation Authority, to discuss the proposal to amend the Iraqi Accreditation Authority Law No. 78 of 2017.
The list of proposed amendments included: The Authority’s connection with the Ministry of Planning is in accordance with the controls of the Ministry of Finance, provided that they do not conflict with the wages collected by the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control, and the percentage of allocations stipulated in the law to cover the Authority’s expenses and develop its work, and that the Authority’s accounts are subject to the audit and control of the Federal Financial Supervision Office.
The attendees also discussed the amendments concerned with transferring the rights, obligations, ownership and assignments of the Laboratory Accreditation Department of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control to the Accreditation Authority, while ensuring that employees of the Laboratory Accreditation Department retain all their employment rights./End 5
