A document issued by the Ministry of Finance, signed by Minister Taif Sami, revealed that the government is providing a "financial subsidy" to MPs worth 5 billion dinars. The document explained that the Parties Department is responsible for distributing the total amount of the subsidy to the parties participating in the elections.
The ministry stated, according to the document addressed to the office of MP Amir Al-Maamouri, that "the allocation allocated for the political parties' grant within the budget schedule for the year 2024 amounts to 5 billion dinars."
