[rtl]Member of Parliament, Mustafa Sand, explained the nature of the article on which the accused of stealing the century, “Nour Zuhair,” was charged, while pointing out the penalties of the article.[/rtl]
[rtl]Sand said, in a post followed by “Al-Eqtisad News”, that “the article on which (Nour Zuhair) was adapted is Article (444_Eleventh) of the Penal Code, and not Article (331) of the same law.”[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "Article (333) is specific to the employee or the person assigned, and is not specific to citizens outside the job, and is not related to theft, and its penalties are relatively light, as it accepts a fine or imprisonment or both."[/rtl]
[rtl]Regarding Article (444), Sand explains that “this article is more stringent and relates to theft, and its penalties are imprisonment or detention (and no fine is accepted),” indicating that “(the Anti-Corruption Criminal Court) sent a letter today confirming that the accused is included in Article (444 - Eleventh), other than this letter published on social media.”[/rtl]
[rtl]Earlier today, the judiciary set next Wednesday as the date for the trial of the accused, Nour Zuhair, who is on bail.[/rtl]
