[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Presidency Council of Iraq ratified nominating, Adnan al-Zurfi, as the Governor of Najaf province.[/ltr]
[ltr]The head of the Media Office within Najaf Directorate, Ziyad al-Salihi, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Presidency ratified nominating Zurfi as Najaf Governor.”[/ltr]
[ltr]It is worth mentioning that Zurfi was re-nominated as the Governor of Najaf, amid disputes among some political blocs over the legal way of nominating him that resulted in referring this issue to the Federal Court which approved the nomination.[/ltr]
