He added that the palace , " the ministry ignored the opinion of the local government and signed contracts for the initial privatization of electricity while not submitted to the provincial council contracts only for the purpose of this review and disorderly."

And that " the local government is well aware of the economic benefit of privatization , but placed on the ministry to sit with us and is trading on this important issue and is directly related to the children of the province as well."
He added that the Serail "protests went out in the province while hearing the news of the signing of the contract between the ministry and the executing company, which made the minister postpones signing of the contract."
The management of the province of Dhi Qar, announced (27 December 2016 last), on the transfer of the electricity distribution sector in the province to invest, indicating that the company (Himalaya) Chinese will take the functions of the implementation of the project , which includes the collection and rehabilitation of the electricity network, while reported Electricity Distribution Directorate South, the collection will be on wages in accordance with the pricing approved by the federal government.
For his part, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity Musab teacher told the "term", said that " the ministry past the issue of the privatization of electricity and all this according to the budget law for the years 2016 and 2017".
He said the teacher , " a lot of citizens are not aware of the importance that will bring electricity privatization, and the benefit of economic returns of income on Iraq, where the monthly pocket money of electricity will be reduced." He pointed out that "every time the citizen pays for the Ministry and the owners of generators while when privatization will make him pay for the Ministry only by much less money."
He revealed the teacher about "the existence of a forthcoming meeting between the ministry and the province of Dhi Qar to discuss privatization in place and reach a solution that satisfies all parties and makes the citizen the first owner of interest."
It was not Dhi Qar is the Shiites only in place of privatization, but also Basra , said chairman of the electricity in the Basra Governorate Council Mujibur Hassani, told the "term", that " the privatization of the province refuses the electricity sector."
