    US President Donald Trump on Friday declared his country "impatient" about North Korea over its nuclear program.
    "The period of strategic patience with the North Korean regime has failed," Trump said after talks with South Korean President Moon Jay-Ann at the White House. "It has failed for so many years frankly.
    He said he had "many options" on North Korea.
    About 1,000 US troops are deployed in South Korea against North Korea, which has doubled its five-year-old missile tests since the moon's inauguration as it seeks to develop a nuclear-capable intercontinental ballistic missile to hit US territory.
    The South Korean president supports dialogue with North Korea if it agrees to freeze its nuclear program.
