The House of Representatives will resume next Tuesday its first session of its fourth and final legislative year in its current parliamentary session 2014-2018.
"The Presidency of the Council of Representatives attributed the convening of the first session of the first legislative term to the fourth legislative year on Tuesday (July 4th)," a brief statement to the council said.
The Speaker of the Parliament Salim al-Jubouri that the presidency of the Council will adopt in the next legislative term a new mechanism for the attendance of deputies to the meetings through the cancellation of all vacations granted and limited to eight sessions and if the absences exceeded one third of the sessions will activate the rules of procedure to end membership.
He pointed out that "a team of staff of the Council will start recording the attendance of deputies in the session depending on the actual attendance and cameras without granting subsequent vacations."
